The Mandalika is a tourism destination developed by the Company into one of 10 New Balis, a national strategic project.  The Mandalika is located in  the southern  part  of  the  island of  Lombok  with a  16-kilometer  long, sparkling  white  sandy coastline.  Since the begining, the  development  of   The   Mandalika  tourism   area   was  designed  with  ecotourism in  mind,  combining clean  solar energy, water desalination buildings, and keeping more than 51% of the resorts as green open spaces, which will not only maintain and protect the natural beauty of Mandalika scenery but also enhance the life and culture of the local people.

ITDC is ready to develop the beautiful area of 1.175 ha in The Mandalika which has been designated as a Special Economic Zone, with the highest quality standard.  Mandalika SEZ was established through Government Regulation No. 52 of 2014 to become a Tourism SEZ. More information of Mandalika SEZ can be seen at the following link.
